Led by Vikki Ryall, Clinical Manager at Headspace, this session will explore the prevalence, early intervention and treatment of mental health issues among same sex attracted and transgender young people. Participants will be given a basic introduction to depression, anxiety, personality disorders and psychosis. There will also be opportunities to discuss particular cases with a focus on early intervention and referral. The session will also look at care of the self and how to effectively manage difficult situations.
