International Day Against Homophobia Annual Report 2011

The annual report on the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia 2011 can now be downloaded below.
Activists from over 90 countries took action this year around May 17, confirming once more the relevance of the Day as a specific entry point for action.
With activity reports, including on media coverage, coming in from many countries, the IDAHO Committee estimates that the Day has provided the opportunity to impact at least 200 million people worldwide.

All gender questioning, genderqueer, trans and gender diverse, friends allies and other peeps welcome!

Kaleidoscope Gay Straight Alliance is a group of 16 to 21yr old young people who are working towards reducing homophobia for other young people in the local schools and wider community. Because Kaleidoscope is a gay-straight alliance our group is open for anyone to participate who is passionate about the rights and equal opportunities of GLBTIS people.
The Kaleidoscope group is made up of young people from across the entire Mornington Peninsula Shire area. The group meets fortnightly to work towards our aim of reducing homophobia in the local area as well as providing a social outlet with fun activities through the school terms and activities during the school holidays.
