Who is the group for?:
The {also} vision is the creation and celebration of a diverse, strong, safe, and inclusive GLBTIQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) community that contributes to and is respected by broader communities.
Also believes that young people are a vital and important aspect of our community and one which must be both respected, nurtured and supported.
The inaugural {also} : Youth Action Plan 2008-2011 was launched on Feb 20th, 2009. This document is the result of extensive discussion and review amongst a range of stake-holders - not least young people themselves and forms the basis of our thinking around future activity for our organisation relating to young people.
{also} Youth Programs and Projects include Minus18, Minus+, ALSORTS Youth House, Youth Action Plan 2009-2011, and the ALSORTS Sexuality Awareness Resource.
