Have your organisation included in the GLBTIQ rural services guide

'Take Care OutBack There' is a state-wide sexual health project of Country Awareness Network, CAN. Its aim is to promote sexual health amongst rural and regional gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender Victorians.

We know that GLBTIQ people living in rural and regional Victoria do not always have the same access to social, support or health services as do our urban friends.

'Take Care OutBack There' is developing a resource guide/directory to help GLBTIQ people find services and social activities that are gay specific and/or gay friendly in rural and regional Victoria.

The Guide is a directory of support agencies, sexual health agencies and GLBTIQ groups and organisations that provide services in rural and regional Victoria. It will include a list of rural gay social and support groups, services that provide information or support toward maintaining good sexual health, health tips and other snippets. It is also a guide to recreation activities, tourism destinations and places to eat, drink and play where GLBTIQ people can trust that they will be welcomed.

All community groups and organisations, service organisations and businesses in rural and regional Victoria can benefit from advertising in the 2012 CAN Find Guide. If you wish for your organisation to be included in the guide, please fill in the attached booking form or for more information contact:
