Searching for Gay Straight Alliances (GSA) in Schools!

As part of our work supporting school-based workers, Rainbow Network Victoria is trying to find out which schools in Victoria have groups for same sex attracted students and their allies. We currently know 4 schools that have 'Gay Straight Alliance' (GSA) type groups.

These groups provide a great opportunity for young people to meet, plan activities, run campaigns etc. and for schools to show their commitment to challenging homophobia and supporting sexual diversity.

If you know of any schools where you live or work that have these type of groups, please get in touch!
Email r.ward@latrobe.edu.au or call 9285 5131.

We plan to list these in the school section of our website, and to help schools share best practise.
