Out in the Community: Delivering Inclusive Community Services

Submitted by Admin on Thu, 01/07/2010 - 2:45pm

'Out In the Community: Delivering inclusive community services for clients and co-workers with diverse sexual or gender identities' is an accredited training package from Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE and Gay and Lesbian Health Victoria.

This resource is designed for workers in any community agency to enhance the response of workers to these often marginalised clients and is based on an earlier resource for housing workers which in 2006 won the Community Services and Health Industry Training Board Award for Innovation.

These units exist in many community services qualifications from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma Level.

The package is available for purchase at cost of $110 (includes GST) from GLHV
